Electronics Sourcing Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Sourcing Specialist to contribute to our organization's success.

The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of electronic component sourcing, BOM analysis, and supplier communication. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to generate accurate quotes for prototype and bulk production.
  • Sourcing active and passive components, PCBs, and electronic parts globally.
  • Building and managing vendor relationships; evaluating supplier performance and reliability.
  • Negotiating pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure project success.
  • Collaborating with engineering, production, and logistics teams to align procurement with project timelines.
  • Utilizing software tools to manage procurement processes and maintain accurate data.
  • Monitoring market trends, component availability, and price fluctuations to minimize risk and optimize sourcing.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics sourcing or procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM-based quoting, and global sourcing strategies.
  • Familiarity with procurement software tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
  • Exposure to international sourcing and import/export compliance.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as RoHS, IPC, and ISO.
