Product Development Expert

The role of Product Development Engineer is centered around creating products that are manufacturable and reliable. This involves collaboration with various departments, including design, applications, test, marketing, manufacturing, quality, and reliability teams.

This position requires strong technical documentation skills, as well as the ability to analyze large amounts of data and make informed decisions.

  1. Development work in support of power devices (Buck converter multiphase controller, power stages, Power sequencers, etc.)
  2. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for new product development, production release, and goal achievement
  3. Design, qualification, and evaluation of Power products
  4. Failure analysis and root cause determination for reliability and qualification failures
Key Responsibilities:
  • Qualify second source wafer fab, assembly/test facility, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for device continuity of supply
  • Perform test conversion, time reduction, and yield improvements for device entitlement operational transfer cost (OTC)
  • Handle material builds post-design release with manufacturing sites
  • Drive customer returns to full closure with Root Cause Analysis
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical background and high-quality documentation skills
