Job Title: Tax Strategic Leader

The role of the Tax Strategic Leader is to spearhead a team in navigating intricate tax regulations, supporting business operations, and driving tax-efficient strategies across various jurisdictions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance: Oversee global tax compliance, encompassing corporate income tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and other indirect taxes. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments.
  • Tax Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's global tax position. Identify opportunities for tax savings and incentives across different countries.
  • Tax Accounting & Reporting: Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in the financial statements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate tax risks through robust controls and processes. Manage tax audits and disputes with tax authorities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of tax professionals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, legal, and business units to support global operations and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • CA/CS/CMA/ACCA/CFA/CPA, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international tax, with a mix of public accounting and corporate tax experience.
  • Strong knowledge of global tax laws, regulations, and practices.
