Transformative Web Development Opportunities

We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a web development intern.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain cutting-edge web applications using Next.js (TypeScript, Node.js, App Router, React Server Components).
  • Design and implement secure edge functions, authentication flows, and data storage solutions with Supabase.
  • Model and optimize content, progress, and analytics data in MongoDB (indexes, aggregation pipelines).
  • Integrate real-time captioning and sign-language video assets into web applications.
  • Create and manage data pipelines for artificial intelligence models.
  • Write unit and integration tests (Vitest/Jest, Playwright) and participate in peer code reviews.
  • Profile application performance, minimize bundle sizes, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Work closely with operations teams to deploy releases to partner schools, gather feedback, and resolve production issues efficiently.
Requirements
  • Pursuing or completed a degree in computer science or equivalent self-taught experience, with emphasis on practical skills.
  • At least 6 months of hands-on experience with React/Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Working knowledge of Supabase (authentication, PostgreSQL, Storage) or strong SQL fundamentals.
  • Basic proficiency in MongoDB CRUD, schema design, and aggregation.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub flow and modern JavaScript tooling (pnpm or yarn, eslint, prettier).

Essential soft skills include empathetic communication, active listening, problem-solving mindset, time management & deadline discipline, adaptability, work ethic & grit, self-awareness & humility, collaboration, and emotional intelligence.

Nice-to-have extras include live projects, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, or ShadCN knowledge, machine learning/AI deployment experience, CI/CD exposure, and interest in AI/LLMs for caption generation or sign-language recognition.
