System Testing Specialist

Job Description:

This role involves applying a systematic approach to testing software applications on the AS400 platform. The primary objective is to ensure seamless integration of functional and technical layers through comprehensive testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and refine test cases for IBM i-based applications to validate their functionality and identify defects.

  • Conduct manual and automated testing across various levels to guarantee the smooth operation of the application.

  • Carry out system integration and user acceptance testing to verify that the application meets the required standards.

  • Document and analyze test outcomes; collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and improve the testing process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries and working with database management systems.

  • Demonstrable domain expertise in Property & Casualty insurance, including its nuances and complexities.

  • A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in software testing, preferably with AS400 platforms, and a strong understanding of their specific requirements.
