We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials and services for our projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts.
- Conducting thorough market research to identify potential vendors, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favourable terms.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, reliability, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiating contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Monitoring market trends and industry developments to optimize procurement strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Engineer with 3-5 years in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Expertise in Kannada language is highly valued.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing procurement processes.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team and meet tight deadlines.
