We are seeking a skilled Venture Capital Investment Analyst to join our team.

About the Role

This position offers hands-on experience in early-stage investing, startup evaluation, portfolio company management and ecosystem engagement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market size analysis, evaluate products/services including technology moats (Intellectual Property/Patents), assess teams, business models, and financials, identify risk factors, and analyze competitive landscapes and funding histories.
  • Due Diligence: Support the investment team in commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, and legal due diligence and Coordinate with professional firms to oversee their diligence findings.
  • Opportunity Sourcing: Assist in sourcing opportunities from founder networks, investment bankers and startup ecosystem. Screen startups, review pitch decks, and conduct preliminary assessments based on deal evaluation metrics.
  • Portfolio Support: Engage with portfolio companies and assist in preparation of updates on the companies, assist founders with research and go to market strategies.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Attend startup events, demo days, and network with founders, accelerators, and fellow investors.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Assist in preparing compliance documentation and internal records.
  • Investor Relations: Assist in making presentations for Limited Partners (LPs) as well as investor updates.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and be able to assess market trends and business models.

  • NISM Series XIX-D exam is mandatory.
  • Passion for startups, venture capital, and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related fields preferred.
  • Prior experience in startups, consulting, investment banking or finance is a plus.
