Job Summary

A Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving business decisions and improving operations by extracting insights from data. This involves using programming, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques to uncover patterns and build predictive models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data analysts employ statistical methods to collect and organize data, requiring strong problem-solving skills.
  • They devise solutions to problems encountered in data collection and cleaning, as well as developing statistical models and algorithms.
  • Data gathering and preparation from multiple sources is essential.
  • Identifying trends and patterns in large volumes of structured and unstructured data is critical.
  • Machine learning models and predictive algorithms are developed to solve business problems.
  • Statistical techniques are used to validate findings and ensure accuracy.
  • Clear visualizations and reports are created to communicate results effectively.
  • Collaboration with different teams is necessary to apply data-driven insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role (SFIA level 3-4)
  • Proficiency in Python, C++ is required.
  • Familiarity with AWS Bedrock and GCP Vertox is an advantage.
  • MLops scalability and model development expertise is highly valued.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual, are essential.
  • The ability to collaborate with business stakeholders proactively and cross-functionally is crucial.
