Job Description

The AI Platform Team is a dynamic and ambitious group focused on developing centralized AI infrastructure and acceleration solutions that drive productivity, innovation, and customer impact across the organization. Our objective is to accelerate AI adoption, enhance team efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer experiences by embedding growth pods directly within teams across the company.

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on our team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how people and businesses engage with and benefit from AI in the future. You'll work with state-of-the-art AI models, frameworks, and tools, leading project execution by managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, leveraging your technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced GenAI techniques, including large language models (LLMs) and Agentic AI, to solve complex challenges across the organization.
  • Lead project execution, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring deliverables are met, relying on your technical expertise.
  • Develop high-quality, well-tested code in Python and Golang to address critical product and business needs.
  • Design scalable, secure systems using modern cloud technologies and industry best practices.
  • Mentor team members on design principles, coding standards, and AI productivity tools adoption.
  • Resolve complex technical issues to enhance system reliability, scalability, and ease of operation.
  • Review feature designs across teams to ensure security, scalability, and architectural integrity.
  • Build pipelines to integrate with third-party vendors and streamline workflows.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proven expertise in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services, with a strong understanding of micro-services architecture.
  • Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
  • Deep understanding of what high-quality code and software engineering processes look like, and the ability to foster an environment that promotes them.
  • Strong technical skills in system design and coding.
  • Passion for building an open financial system that unites the world.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a preference for open and transparent cultural practices.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience navigating rapid company growth (e.g., from startup to mid-size).
  • Familiarity with GenAI frameworks/tools, Python, GoLang, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB.
  • Background in AI/LLM infrastructure is a strong plus.
