Job Title

As a seasoned software engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise: You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software solutions for large-scale projects and programs within the technology domain. This includes upgrades and deployments, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Strategic Planning: You will contribute to strategic planning of technical initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments, collaborating with peers and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.

Collaboration: You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement modernized and sustainable technology roadmaps, analyze technical requirements, and implement software solutions.

Quality Assurance: You will ensure high-quality delivery of products, on time and within budget, working closely with engineering managers, product owners, and teams.

Risk Management: Proactively manage risk through implementation of right controls and escalate where required, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Communication: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration in a global development environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Spark (Apache Spark or Pyspark), big query (gcp) and UNIX experience
  • Software enterprise application development and uses continuous integration and delivery when developing code
  • Experience of banking/financial technology domain will be preferred
