Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

This role involves designing and executing test cases focused on database validation, writing complex SQL queries, and performing data reconciliation.

  • Analyse business requirements to design effective test cases for database validation.
  • Write, execute, and optimize complex SQL queries to validate business logic and data integrity.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems.
  • Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with developers and DBAs to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on database testing.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing queries, joins, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Strong experience in data validation and reconciliation across multiple systems.
  • At least mid-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
