Key Responsibilities

* Develop high-agency decision-making frameworks that empower teams to make informed choices
* Design and implement systems that prioritize simplicity and efficiency, leveraging modern tools and techniques to drive business outcomes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compress timelines and achieve breakthroughs in speed and quality
* Instrument and optimize key performance indicators, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines and SLO gates
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, promoting a growth mindset among team members

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience shipping production systems at scale, with end-to-end ownership and a proven track record of success
  • Distributed systems mastery, including Raft or Paxos, CRDTs, vector clocks, backpressure, idempotency, and exactly once semantics
  • Strong security first engineering principles, with expertise in threat modelling, mTLS, key rotation, tokenisation, and least privilege IAM
  • Range across the stack, with proficiency in backend, infra, and modern frontend development
