The Clinical Director-Unit Medical Services is responsible for the overall co-ordination and oversight of all medical care provided at the unit, ensuring the quality of clinical services rendered.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for the co-ordination and oversight of all medical care provided at the unit.
- Ensure statutory compliances with regards to medical services.
- Responsible for analyzing department mix and need for consultants.
- Participate in tariff revision and clinical compensation patterns.
- Responsible for monitoring and rationalizing doctor costs.
- Responsible for overseeing clinician/clinical related quality monitoring/accreditation/quality assurance services.
- Coordinate and conduct medical advisory board meetings, departmental meetings.
- Oversee reporting and communication of quality improvement initiatives, quality and patient safety awareness.
- Addressing requirement of consultants and recruitment of consultants.
- Induction, On boarding, Credentialing and privileging, formulating contracts with hospital director for new consultants.
- Training and re privileging and monitoring performance and appraisal of consultants.
- Review, peer review and formulate draft reply for medico legal cases with inputs from treating team.
- Maintain medicolegal tracker and follow up on active cases.
- Conduct mortality meetings periodically and review cases.
- Audit-clinical billing codes.
- MBBS + MHA qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Medical Superintendent role.
