Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Specialist. This role will focus on banking and finance operations, with responsibilities including liaising with banks, assisting with daily cash management, producing MIS on liquidity, obtaining 15CA/CB, preparation of weekly payment summary, review of employee claims, credit card management, licenses procurement, and producing monthly payment reports for accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with banks for banking operations
  • Assist with daily cash management across various bank accounts
  • Produce daily MIS on liquidity
  • Obtain 15CA/CB
  • Prepare weekly payment summary
  • Review employee claims
  • Manage credit cards
  • Procure licenses
  • Produce monthly payment reports for accounting
  • Assist with execution of financing deals
  • Assist with daily portfolio transfers, investor repayments, EMI repayments
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for India, covering disbursements, repayments, net cash, and third-party contracts
  • Prepare and record journal entries using NetSuite to support timely month-end close
  • Assist with timely payment of statutory dues
  • Partner with departments on accruals, vendor management, and contracts management
  • Assist team in preparing and communicating timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports
  • Assist with preparation of monthly cash projections
  • Assist with annual external audit, completing requested materials
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's in finance or related areas
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in similar position
  • Experience in handling banking transactions
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to get hands dirty
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Driven by data and highly analytical, good understanding of Excel preferred
