Job Title: Senior Lead in Database

We are seeking a seasoned technical expert to lead our database team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable database solutions that meet the needs of our business.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system design, application development, and operational stability.

They should possess a strong understanding of modern database technologies including NoSQL, Distributed RDBMS, and In-memory databases.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, while a master's degree is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable database solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Develop and maintain high-quality database code
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in system design, application development, and operational stability
  • Strong understanding of modern database technologies
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go
  • Experience with Terraform or similar IAC tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications related to database technologies or software engineering
  • Previous experience in a senior leadership role focused on database management
  • Experience in deploying and managing databases in cloud environments
