Job Title: Service Engineering Expert

A Key Role in Efficient Service Engineering Teams:

The Service Engineering Expert plays a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our teams. As a member of this globally responsible team, you will be working closely with technical experts to solve complex problems and provide critical support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting technical experts in resolving Service Now tasks, particularly those related to main bearing issues.
  • Authoring documents for Teamcenter and Windchill, ensuring up-to-date information and regular updates on new potential serial defects.
  • Creating and maintaining failed component information, keeping management informed about new potential serial issues.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Working as a focal point of contact for technical issues between local business units and central business units.
  • Assigning tasks along the technical support process.
  • Collecting information about mechanical components of wind turbines and identifying potential serial issues.
  • Evaluating risk potential, budgeting, and scheduling activities related to major non-conformities.
  • Supporting local business units in developing sustainable solutions for mechanical problems in wind turbine drive trains.
  • Crafting repair and inspection instructions for mechanical component assemblies.
  • Defining, implementing, and obtaining service processes for mechanical assemblies.
  • Improving internal standards and processes and ensuring knowledge transfer between departments and locations.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in Mechanical drive trains and roller bearings (design, development, evaluation of fault conditions, and error analysis).
  • Proven project coordination or similar experience.
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
