Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Design Manager

The role of a Mechanical Engineering Design Manager is to oversee the design and development of mechanical components, creating bills of material, and managing documentation as per ISO 9004:2015.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop detailed designs for mechanical components and systems
  2. Create bills of material and manage inventory control
  3. Ensure compliance with ISO 9004:2015 standards
  4. Prepare assembly and part drawings, as well as 3D models for new product development
  5. Manage documentation and records related to design and development activities
  6. Collaborate with manufacturing and sourcing teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  7. Develop and implement design standards and procedures
  8. Train production and quality assurance personnel on approved manufacturing and inspection procedures
  9. Resolve process-related issues and customer complaints in a timely manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in mechanical engineering
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including Auto Cad 2D & Solid works/Siemens NX (Unigraphics)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma, CIPET or BE Mechanical Engineering

Additional Skills:

  • Technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
