Cloud Security Consultant Role Summary

This role is for a professional with expertise in cloud computing and security. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based security solutions to protect customer data and applications.

  • Design and implement cloud security architectures that meet customer requirements.
  • Implement and manage cloud security controls, including access management, data protection, network security, and incident response processes.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Experience with cloud security platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of security frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
