Senior System Design Engineer

This role focuses on leading physical design implementation for various SoC subsystems.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to optimize system performance and power consumption.
- Develop expertise in static timing analysis, timing closure, and signal integrity using tools like Synopsys ICC2 and Calibre.
- Maintain proficiency in physical design tools, including Primetime and Redhawk-SC, and scripting languages like Tcl, Python, or Perl.
- Own the physical design implementation of SoC subsystems, adhering to PPA goals.
- Collaborate with Full Chip verification team to resolve DRC, LVS, and antenna rule violations.
- Implement power-saving strategies while maintaining performance.
- Develop custom scripts to streamline tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
- Guide junior engineers and share best practices to enhance team expertise.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of floor planning, power planning, PNR, and signoff checks.
- Experience with static timing analysis, timing closure, and signal integrity.
