Job Position

A Linux/Unix System Administrator with 2+ years of experience is required to work in rotational shifts. The candidate should be well-versed in Linux and Unix systems, with expertise in at least two flavors of Unix.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Linux clusters using VCS (Veritas Cluster) software.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, including OS patching and shell scripting.
  • Troubleshoot system down issues and handle critical and high-severity technical problems.
  • Develop a better understanding of automation tools like Puppet and Ansible, and knowledge of clustering, server building, and OS upgrades.
  • Conduct capacity and configuration management analysis of servers.
  • Adhere to ITIL best practices and develop processes for meeting client expectations.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like OpenStack, OpenShift, Docker, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Experience with automation tools and data center, DR, and server migrations.
  • Team handling and collaboration skills are essential.
