About the Role:

  • Evaluate and establish best practices for code quality, testing, deployment, and scalability.
  • Oversee new feature development to ensure high-performance and reliability.
  • Mentor and upskill a young team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate vision into actionable tech solutions.
  • Take ownership of system performance, security, and scalability as the company grows and evolves.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years leading teams.
  • Strong expertise in modern tech stacks (Node.js, React, AWS, microservices, databases).
  • Proven experience scaling consumer-facing or marketplace products.
  • Ability to establish and enforce development best practices.
  • A builder's mindset — comfortable switching between strategy and execution.
  • Great communicator and mentor who thrives in fast-paced environments.
