Senior Leadership Position

The ideal candidate should possess a B.E./B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, with over 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Refineries, and Petrochemicals sectors. They should have a proven track record of heading engineering departments and managing teams of 10-15 people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all engineering activities for various disciplines, including Process, Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, and planning with respective HODs.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to the engineering team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve project goals.
  • Lead the Engineering team, including technical and performance management.
  • Oversee day-to-day team operations, coordinating research and third-party projects.
  • Define and implement Management of change and traceability.
  • Deliver safe and compliant operations, contributing to the development of a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Grow the use of modelling to complement experimentation.
  • Energise the team to solve complex challenges at pace.
  • Build relationships based on trust with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Take the technical lead in early Project implementation and Project Engineering, planning effectively available resources.
  • Exercise effective design and leadership in process scaleup activities related to conversion pathways, specifying process equipment, project objectives, and communicating priorities.
