Job Opportunity: Experienced Civil Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled civil engineer with excellent technical and leadership abilities to oversee quality control, project execution, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert technical guidance on projects to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Reviewing and authorizing engineering plans and drawings.
- Ensuring adherence to established methodologies, standards, and regulations.
- Developing work schedules and communicating with crew members and clients regarding project progress.
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor quality control and health and safety matters.
- Managing timelines and costs of ongoing projects.
- Preparing detailed reports and presentations as required.
- Resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other issues that may arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in repairs and maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from a reputable institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, officials, contractors, and clients.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software applications.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide teams towards project goals.
