A high-impact migration project requires a skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to modernize our legacy platform. Primary focus will be migrating our legacy UI to Spring Boot microservices and hosting UI pages on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build highly available, resilient, and secure production systems on the cloud.
  • Migrate legacy UI systems to a microservice architecture.
  • Upgrade Java applications to Springboot ensuring high-quality and secure code.
  • Test, document, and quality-proof your work.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines for optimized deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues and identify root cause and resolution.
  • Support production deployments, operations, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor metrics and improve logging, reporting, and alerting.
  • Foster agile principles and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with Java and related frameworks like Spring/Springboot.
  • Experience working with JavaScript and related frameworks including old frameworks like Backbone.js/Marionette.js, jQuery.
  • CI/CD practices, build, and deployment technologies like Maven, Jenkins, Docker.
  • Experience working with REST APIs.
  • Production experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure like EC2, RDS, S3, Elasticsearch.
  • Understanding of security concepts and vulnerability management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
