Job Description:
Civil Engineers are responsible for overseeing the execution of construction projects. This involves developing and implementing project plans, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining budget control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Civil Work Plan Execution: Coordinate with engineering teams to develop and implement civil work plans that align with project schedules.
  • Quality Assurance: Identify quality issues, conduct quality inspections, and ensure effective resolution.
  • Contractor Management: Supervise contractors, evaluate their work schedules, monitor progress, and prepare regular reports.
  • Billing and Payments: Verify invoices from contractors and report any discrepancies to the project head.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage project timelines to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Standards and Compliance: Stay updated on Indian Standard (IS) codes and standards for civil works.
  • Documentation: Prepare job-related documents, such as daily reports, material inventory status, BOM (Bill of Materials), and BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
  • On-Site Management: Manage projects from the field, addressing and resolving on-site issues during construction.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Plan and coordinate all civil maintenance for the plant and infrastructure, including sanitary, drainage, and rainwater systems.
  • Safety Measures: Instruct the use of safety equipment and PPEs, and conduct tool box talks to prevent accidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, civil engineering practices, and construction laws.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
