Description

The Treasury Management Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Head of Treasury in managing external stakeholders, raising funds, ensuring compliance, and handling cash flow/liability management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fund Raising & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to raise funds and manage treasury operations.
  • Credit Rating Surveillance & Compliance Reporting: Monitor credit ratings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Debt Servicing & Liability Management: Manage debt servicing and liability management functions, including cash flow planning and audit coordination.
  • Cash Flow Planning & Audit Coordination: Plan and coordinate cash flow and audits to ensure timely submission of returns and reports.
  • Relationship Building & Management: Build and manage relationships with PSU and private banks to achieve treasury objectives.
  • Loan Application Preparation: Prepare loan applications, CMA data, and documentation for disbursements.
  • Transaction Vetting: Coordinate with Legal & Compliance for transaction vetting and due diligence reports.
  • Fund Raising & Debt Raising: Drive fund raising and speed up debt raising process.
  • Credit Rating Surveillance: Handle credit rating surveillance with multiple agencies.
  • Management Calls & Negotiation: Arrange management calls, negotiate rating fee structures, and oversee stock audits and charge creation/modification with MCA.
  • Post-Disbursement Compliances: Manage post-disbursement compliances and due diligence reports.
  • Regulatory Returns: Ensure timely submission of RBI, NHB & other regulatory returns.
  • Liability Dashboard & Debt Servicing: Manage liability dashboard, debt servicing, and investments in liquid funds/FDs.
  • Cash Flow Management: Support CFO in cash flow management and cost of borrowing analysis.

Requirements

To succeed as a Treasury Management Specialist, you should have:

  • CA / Postgraduate in Finance (MBA Finance preferred)
  • 7-12 years' experience in fund raising for NBFCs/HFCs
  • Strong skills in negotiation, relationship management & problem-solving
  • Familiarity with NBFC/NHB regulations, IND AS & IGAAP
  • Knowledge of NHB refinancing is an advantage
