Lead Financial Strategist

About the Role:

A highly skilled finance professional is required to collaborate closely with senior management to define and execute financial strategy, ensuring long-term success and stability.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day financial operations, focusing on efficiency and accuracy. Key responsibilities include managing financial accounts, overseeing AR/AP, payroll, tax, and statutory compliance operations, and providing stakeholders with financial visibility through dashboards and regular reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the company's financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, tax, and statutory compliance operations.
  • Provide stakeholders with financial visibility through data-driven dashboards and regular reports on yearly, quarterly, and monthly financial performance.
  • Forecast cash flow, assess borrowing needs, and determine available funds for expenses and investments.
  • Assist in budget preparation at organizational and functional levels.
  • Report budget variances to management, providing detailed explanations for discrepancies.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably accompanied by 6-10 years of relevant experience in finance roles, preferably in small to medium-sized companies or technology startups with a global reach, is required.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity are essential. In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and global finance practices is required.
