Job Title: Business Development Lead

The role holder is responsible for spearheading business growth and end-to-end policy servicing for group business. This involves leading a team to achieve operational excellence, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Sales and Actuarial teams to ensure timely closure of individual Group processes.
  • Oversee the issuance of policies and resolution of customer and intermediary queries in an efficient manner.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of established Company procedures and contribute to introducing process improvements whenever possible.
  • Implement quality controls to aid proactive management and anticipate potential problems.
  • Supervise and train an effective team to meet growing business needs.
  • Collaborate with finance to reconcile policy account balances.
  • Drive transformation and digitization initiatives for group business.

Requirements & Qualifications:

A degree in Business Administration or related field with at least 8-10 years' experience gained in customer Services or Operations Department. An MBA/ACII is highly desirable.

Essential Skills/Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in operations within the financial services industry.
  • Experience within the Group Operation department of an Insurance company is mandatory.
  • Data processing skills to deliver operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using databases, office management software, word processors, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and influencing skills.
