Job Description

We are looking for a Data Engineer who will build automated pipelines and solutions for data migration, data import, or other operations requiring data ETL. The successful candidate will perform analysis on core products to support migration planning and development, work closely with the Team Lead and collaborating with other stakeholders to gather requirements and build well-architected data solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform analysis on core products to support migration planning and development
  • Work closely with the Team Lead and collaborating with other stakeholders to gather requirements and build well-architected data solutions
  • Produce supporting documentation such as specifications, data models, relation between data and others required for the effective development usage and communication of the data operations solutions with different stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience (4-8 years) working with databases on-premises and or cloud-based environments such as MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AzureSQL, Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS etc
  • Strong knowledge of databases, data modeling, and data life cycle
  • Proficient in understanding data and writing complex SQL
  • Experience with any ETL ELT tool or platforms - SnapLogic preferred, SSIS, Talend, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, IBM InfoSphere etc
  • Experience working with REST API in data pipelines
