Job Title: Software Engineer - Java Development

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java development and be able to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying Java-based applications.
  • Writing and implementing efficient code.
  • Providing technical support and collaborating with other software engineers.
  • Identifying opportunities for code improvement and implementing best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Struts, RestAPI, microservices, GitHub, Jenkins, uBuild, DevOps tools (OpenShift/Kubernetes), relational databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, DB2).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development with Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Unix-based systems and hardware.
  • Experience with relational databases such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Angular JS, React.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
