Job Title: Linux and Cloud Solutions Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement cloud infrastructure monitoring using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party platforms.
  • Respond to and resolve complex technical incidents in a timely manner.
  • Manage EC2 instances, S3 buckets, IAM users and roles, RDS, VPCs, and other core AWS services.
  • Perform system patching, backups, and restore procedures efficiently.
  • Assist in provisioning new resources via AWS Console, CLI, or Infrastructure as Code.
  • Troubleshoot network, performance, and access-related issues.
  • Maintain and implement robust security best practices including IAM policies, security groups, and encryption.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to support CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications (ECS, EKS, Docker).
  • Analyze cost reports and help optimize AWS spending.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for systems, procedures, and operational playbooks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert-level Linux server administration in a production environment.
  • Advanced system monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
  • Automation expertise using Ansible.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically YAML.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and implementation.
  • Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, ECS, EKS).
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and features.
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux system administration and patching processes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
