Senior Backend Engineer

As a seasoned software engineer, you will be responsible for developing and refining the core backend infrastructure that powers our AI customer service agents. Your expertise in building scalable, production-ready Python code (Django experience is a plus) will be instrumental in shaping the future of conversational AI.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing efficient algorithms to handle massive volumes of customer interactions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS or GCP
- Ensuring high uptime and reliability through proactive monitoring and maintenance
- Driving projects from concept to deployment in a fast-paced startup environment
To excel in this role, you should have:
- 5+ years of experience in backend engineering with deep Python expertise
- Strong cloud skills (AWS or GCP), with familiarity in Kubernetes/Docker
- A proven track record of building and scaling infrastructure in production
- Prior startup experience or evidence of end-to-end ownership (founder, early team member, or shipped independent projects)
- CS degree or equivalent professional foundation
