Cloud Data Architect

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Cloud Data Architect. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures, including data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses.

The successful candidate will have experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Apache Spark, and other related technologies. They will be responsible for developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable real-time and batch processing workflows using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based data architectures, including data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses.
  • Deploy and optimize data solutions on Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data from IoT, MES, SCADA, LIMS, and ERP systems.
  • Automate data workflows using CI/CD and DevOps best practices, ensuring security and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Cloud Data Architect.
  • Strong background in designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Apache Spark, and other related technologies.
  • Ability to develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable data processing.
  • Collaboration with automation team, data scientists, and engineers to provide clean, structured data for AI/ML models.
