About this Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced project management professional to lead our delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software delivery, with experience in leading teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute the Project Plan and Deliver high-quality software.
  2. Assess the situation and make changes to the team, processes, and project execution plan to ensure successful delivery.
  3. Set up the right expectations with the delivery team and stakeholders.
  4. Maintain awareness of project status/progress and determine if the project is on track.
  5. Keep stakeholders informed.

Delivery Acceleration Strategies:

  • Identify technology patterns and development practices within or across projects to speed up the development process.
  • Understand the domain/functional understanding and overall project goal, and explain it to team members.
  • Timely code, design, and functional review of the project, providing early feedback/course correction to the team.
  • Create a base framework, design, or flow chart of critical functionalities to help team members understand quickly and speed up development.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Very well organized.
  • Good analytical and logical thinking.
  • Able to work collaboratively with team members to achieve delivery goals.
  • Able to evaluate team members' skills and allocate tasks, roles, and future progression plans accordingly.
  • Able to handle critical situations.
  • Able to take actions and make decisions as per the situation's demand.
  • Well-versed in at least one software development framework.
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps etc.
  • Experience with source control systems GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab etc.
