Internal Audit Leadership Opportunity

The Head of Internal Audit plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence within our organization. This senior position oversees the development and implementation of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to address complex business challenges and enhance financial performance.
  • Manage intricate financial situations across units, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze business processes to identify key issues and opportunities for improvement, driving process optimization.
  • Perform monthly closing of books of accounts and prepare profitability statements for senior management review.
  • Prepare detailed MIS reports with variance analysis and ageing reports, providing actionable insights.
  • Create and monitor budgets and forecasts; analyze variances and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead the internal audit department, implementing audit tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and SOPs, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and accounting standards.
  • Submit and revise Internal Audit Charters and Plans as required, maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and contribute to cost control initiatives.
  • Participate in value improvement initiatives and capex project reviews, driving timely and cost-effective implementation.
  • Contribute to profit optimization and cost control through detailed contribution analysis reports.
  • Liaise with statutory and internal auditors for quarterly audits and financial reviews.
  • Coordinate with department heads for annual budget preparation and operational cost planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A CA or MBA in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration with significant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, auditing procedures, financial planning, reporting, and audit tools.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure.
