
Infection Control Specialist

Main responsibilities include developing and executing marketing campaigns to raise awareness and generate demand for infection control products. Key objectives include organizing product demonstrations, workshops, and participation in industry conferences/exhibitions. Additionally, we require the creation of marketing collateral and presentations, analysis of customer needs and market trends, and assessment of competitor offerings.
Key aspects of this role include planning, coordinating, and executing marketing programs to create pull in the market for infection control products. This involves identifying and working closely with key architects, construction companies, and project consultants for business development. Furthermore, we require providing technical information to bio-medicals, CSSD managers, and other stakeholders by discussing and detailing feature benefits and precision execution of routine tasks.
We are seeking a candidate with strong understanding of infection control practices and healthcare workflows. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and sales teams is essential.
Key attributes required for this role include being a strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear marketing messages, and innovative, proactive, and result-driven approach. Strong team player with leadership potential is also necessary.
The successful candidate will be responsible for training support, including conducting internal product and technical training for sales and other team members, as well as operational training to end users. Additionally, we require close collaboration with other product managers for operational training during project completion/final handover.
Sales support is another critical aspect of this role, requiring close working relationship with sales teams to introduce and promote products to consultants, architects, surgeons, technicians, and purchase authorities during all pre- and post-sales activities. We also need someone to provide cost support and attend commercial negotiations with the sales team as needed.
This role also involves tracking sales, organizing stocks, maintaining and analyzing sales data, and taking corrective actions to address areas of concern in consultation with the Head - Marketing. Other duties may include handling complaints related to products from customers, coordinating with appropriate personnel for feedback and resolution, and ensuring that all marketing and product communications comply with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and quality certifications.
Education-wise, we require a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Pharmacy, preferably accompanied by an MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Healthcare Management. 5-8 years of experience in medical equipment, devices, consumables, preferably in infection control industry, is highly desirable.
