Job Role:

Senior Wireless Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wireless Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex wireless network systems.

This is a senior-level position that requires significant technical expertise and experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting large-scale wireless networks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our wireless solutions.

  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining system testbeds using various Mist Access Points and other networking devices and servers.
  • You will perform QA validation of 802.11 Wireless and Mist proprietary features, including end-to-end validation of client to cloud architecture.
  • You will recreate customer issues in the lab and work closely with US and India Engineering Teams to drive resolution.
  • You will conduct performance testing using iPerf.
  • You will work closely with the CS team to review customer report defects and enhance test coverage.
  • You will create bugs in Jira and track them closely with the Engineering team.
  • You will timely escalate critical issues.
  • You will create Technical documentation for CS and QA teams in Confluence.
  • You will train and guide Level 1/2 Engineers on emerging wireless technologies.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax protocol standards.
