Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments of existing bridges and preparing reports on Steel Composite and Pretension/Posttension structures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies for strengthening and repair of bridges.
  • Develop new bridge designs and strengthening designs that meet UK standards, ensuring compliance with relevant design and health and safety standards.
  • Carry out design and assessment checks under the guidance of a Senior or Principal Engineer.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence within tight deadlines.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of bridge design principles and Eurocodes.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
