Job Description:
  • Our Temporary Structures Designer will be responsible for designing and developing temporary works and specialized construction equipment used during bridge erection and related civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include design and analysis of temporary structures and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety codes, and engineering standards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structural design software and international codes and standards.

Qualifications & Proffered Skills:
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in temporary structure design, preferably in bridge or infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in structural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, MIDAS)
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, AASHTO, BS, EN)
  • Strong understanding of bridge construction methods (e.g., balanced cantilever, incremental launching, segmental)
  • Familiarity with contractor operations and construction site environments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team
