We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Associate to join our team at Clerk-Tech. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in administrative or sales support roles, preferably in a sales or marketing environment.
As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for accurately entering sales data, customer information, and other relevant data into databases or CRM systems. You will also maintain and update sales records, reports, and spreadsheets as needed.
In addition to your technical skills, you must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach. You should be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have strong proficiency in data entry, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of email marketing platforms and basic sales principles is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter sales data, customer information, and other relevant data into databases or CRM systems.
- Maintain and update sales records, reports, and spreadsheets as needed.
- Assist in creating and sending email marketing campaigns to prospects and customers.
- Monitor email campaigns, track metrics, and provide reports on performance.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Prepare and organize sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating sales events, meetings, and conferences.
- Assist sales representatives in preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts for customers.
- Follow up with leads and customers to gather additional information or provide support as needed.
- Conduct research to identify potential sales leads or market opportunities.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products or services.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in administrative or sales support roles, preferably in a sales or marketing environment.
- Strong proficiency in data entry, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms and basic sales principles is a plus.
