Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Trino (PrestoSQL) in production environments, proficiency in SQL performance tuning and query optimization, and experience with distributed computing frameworks and large-scale data systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement large-scale data systems using Trino (PrestoSQL)
  • Optimize database performance through SQL performance tuning and query optimization
  • Develop and deploy distributed computing frameworks and large-scale data systems
  • Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust monitoring and logging tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Hive Metastore, Iceberg, Delta Lake, HDFS, Kafka, S3, GCS, or ADLS
  • Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and troubleshooting JVM-based applications
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, etc.)
  • Experience with Kubernetes or Docker-based deployments (preferred)
