Product Innovation Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our product innovation efforts in the beauty devices and accessories space. As Product Innovation Leader, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end innovation from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define problem statements, user requirements, and success metrics; align with brand, supply chain, and finance teams.
  • Drive concept development through EVT/DVT/PVT; manage tooling, tolerances, materials, and reliability testing.
  • Evaluate motor/heat/airflow modules, power electronics, and safety features.
  • Identify and qualify OEM/ODM/component suppliers; run RFQs, negotiate MOQs, and build should-cost models.
  • Plan test protocols and documentation for regulatory compliance, including BIS/CRS, IEC 60335 series, RoHS/REACH, EPR, WPC, and UN38.3/IEC 62133.
  • Partner with Industrial Design to ensure ergonomics, acoustic comfort, thermals, and serviceability; packaging fit/spec.
  • Pilot builds, line setup, SOPs, spares/after-sales, user manuals, and risk registers.
  • Track field performance, NPS/reviews, failure modes; drive rapid revs and cost/quality improvements.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 6–10 years of experience in hardware new product development (NPD) for small appliances/consumer electronics/beauty devices.
  • Proven DFM/DFX skills, basic electrical/mechanical literacy (PCBA, plastics, metals, silicone), tooling, and reliability testing.
  • Strong vendor management in India/China/Korea; hands-on with RFQs, BOMs, PPAP/FAT.
  • Familiarity with Indian and global compliance pathways for consumer devices.
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/Creo), basic FEA/CFD interpretation, Jira/PLM, Excel for should-costs.
  • Execution bias; ability to run parallel tracks and hit dates.
