Production Engineer

As a skilled Production Engineer, you will oversee and optimize production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality fabrication of steel components for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate production activities to ensure adherence to project schedules and specifications.
  • Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of steel fabrication operations.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to review and interpret technical drawings, ensuring manufacturability and identifying any design-related issues.
  • Determine the required resources, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to execute production plans effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze production data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to achieve production goals.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the production team, addressing any issues that arise during fabrication and assembly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the production area.
  • Collaborate with quality control personnel to establish and maintain quality standards and implement quality assurance processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste reduction in the production environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for production activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 years proven experience in steel fabrication, steel bridges, or a similar industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes, techniques, and equipment.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong project coordination and planning skills.
  • Familiarity with quality control principles and practices in steel fabrication.
  • Experience with process optimization and lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
