Job description Job Title Production Engineer - Steel Fabrication Bridges Location Alwar RJ Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer with experience in the steel fabrication or steel bridges industry The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality fabrication of steel components for various projects This role requires technical expertise in steel fabrication techniques project coordination skills and a strong focus on safety quality and productivity Responsibilities Plan and coordinate production activities for steel fabrication projects ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications Optimize production processes to improve efficiency productivity and quality of steel fabrication operations Collaborate with design engineers to review and interpret technical drawings ensuring manufacturability and identifying any design-related issues Determine the required resources including materials equipment and manpower to execute production plans effectively Monitor and analyze production data identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to achieve production goals Provide technical support and guidance to the production team addressing any issues that arise during fabrication and assembly Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the production area Collaborate with quality control personnel to establish and maintain quality standards and implement quality assurance processes Identify opportunities for process optimization cost reduction and waste reduction in the production environment Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for production activities Stay updated with industry trends advancements in steel fabrication techniques and regulatory requirements Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or a related field 2 years proven experience in steel fabrication steel bridges or a similar industry In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes techniques and equipment Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications Strong project coordination and planning skills Familiarity with quality control principles and practices in steel fabrication Experience with process optimization and lean manufacturing concepts Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the manufacturing industry Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Leave encashment Provident Fund Application Question s What s your current inhand salary 2 years proven experience in steel fabrication steel bridges or a similar industry Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or a related field In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes techniques and equipment Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications Experience with process optimization and lean manufacturing concepts Work Location In person
