Job Description:

As a skilled Automation Tester, you will play a vital role in developing and executing automated test suites for various modules using Micro Focus UFT. Your primary responsibility will be to create automation testing frameworks for SAP and non-SAP applications, leveraging your expertise in keyword-driven, data-driven, and descriptive programming.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for SAP and non-SAP applications using Micro Focus UFT.
  • Design and execute dynamic testing strategies to ensure the quality of software applications.
  • Perform static analysis, testing, and dry runs of source code using complexity metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in understanding manual test cases or functionality and converting them into automation tests by embedding appropriate validations and checkpoints.
  • Knowledge of automation tools, specifically Micro Focus UFT, and proficiency in scripting languages such as VBScript and .NET.
  • Ability to develop and execute automation test cases/scripts for SAP and non-SAP applications using Micro Focus UFT.
  • Effective communication skills to convey testing activities and findings in verbal and written formats.
