Leading a financial planning team is a challenging yet rewarding experience that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the Role
  • This position involves leading the development of annual budgets, analyzing expenses to ensure alignment with targets.
  • You will be responsible for analyzing financial results, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting business units with performance analysis are also key aspects of this role.
  • The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, ensuring robust internal controls on reporting accuracy.
  • Handling operational financial controls, including revenue/sales growth, expense, and margin management, as well as financial goal tracking, is an essential part of this job.
  • You will work closely with business stakeholders to better understand pipeline and impact on forecasts, using CRM support.
  • Managing complex financial data, acting as a strategic advisor to local market financial directors, and providing financial guidance to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability are also key responsibilities.
  • Supporting business cases, investment appraisals, and pricing strategies with robust financial modeling and analysis is another important aspect of this role.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, such as Business Controller or Financial Planning & Analysis, is required.
  • Candidates should hold a relevant qualification, such as CA/CMA/MBA/ACCA.
  • A background in a large organization and international environment is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with various stakeholders, are essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of Power BI being an asset.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities is crucial.
