Cloud Native Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Native Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-native data lakes and lakehouse optimized for AI/ML workloads and real-time analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-native data lakes and lakehouse architectures for AI/ML workloads and real-time analytics.
  • Develop real-time and event-driven data pipelines using PySpark, Python, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Enable decentralized data ownership and domain-driven design as part of Data Mesh initiatives.
  • Implement Data Fabric across hybrid/multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless data integration and access.
  • Drive Master Data Management (MDM) and data harmonization to build trusted, consistent datasets.
  • Embed security, observability, data lineage, and governance into the data ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

For this role, we require 3–5 years of experience in data engineering roles. You should have strong proficiency in PySpark, Python, and cloud-native data services. Familiarity with Data Mesh, Data Fabric, MDM, and real-time streaming (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.) is also necessary. Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar is required. A knowledge of data governance frameworks and observability tools is essential.
