Interior Designer Job Description

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled interior designer with strong architectural knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or diploma in interior design or architecture, 3–4 years of professional experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize interior concepts and spatial planning aligned with client vision and functional needs.
  • Develop innovative designs and layouts that meet client expectations.
  • Prepare accurate technical drawings, construction details, and documentation using AutoCAD.
  • Specify finishes, furniture systems, lighting, and materials suited for luxury interiors.
  • Curate final styling elements including soft furnishings, accessories, and artwork to enhance the design narrative.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality execution and timely project delivery.
  • Present design ideas, collect feedback, and modify plans accordingly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • 3–4 years of professional experience in interior design with architectural understanding.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, working knowledge of SketchUp and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Strong command of MS Office, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
  • Thorough understanding of design documentation, building systems, and detailing.
  • Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Strong aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and time management skills.
