Revenue Recognition Senior Associate Role

The Revenue Recognition Senior Associate is a crucial team member responsible for ensuring revenue recognition complies with applicable accounting standards.

  • Carry out thorough reviews of contracts to guarantee revenue recognition aligns with applicable accounting principles.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to revenue and associated accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the quarterly and annual external audits by preparing supporting documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
  • Nurture relationships within the organization, including Operations, General Ledger Accounting, IT, etc., to facilitate effective communication and task execution.
  • Conduct various ad hoc revenue analysis and reporting as needed, leveraging technical expertise to drive business insights.
  • Take ownership of special projects assigned, demonstrating adaptability and initiative in driving project success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess a strong understanding of the ASC 606 revenue recognition standard and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Exhibit exceptional oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and delivering results efficiently.
  • Showcase advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, applying technical skills to drive business outcomes.
