Job Title: Senior Auto CAD Drafting Coordinator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Auto CAD Drafting Coordinator to oversee and coordinate drafting operations for luxurious and detailed architectural projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Drafting Operations: Supervise and coordinate the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, ensuring alignment with design intent and project specifications.
  • Lead Team Members: Manage a team of CAD draftsmen, providing guidance, training, and quality control.
  • Schedule Drawings: Plan and schedule working drawings phases, ensuring timely completion aligned with project deadlines.
  • Review Drawings: Review and approve drawings before submission to clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve design challenges and optimize drawings.
  • Maintain CAD Files: Maintain and organize CAD files, templates, and project documentation.
  • Implement Best Practices: Implement best practices for CAD drafting to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in Documentation: Assist in preparing technical documentation and presentations when required.
  • Stay Updated: Stay updated with the latest CAD software, tools, and industry advancements.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in architectural drafting and coordination, preferably in high-end or luxury projects.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
  • Understanding: Strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams effectively while ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of building codes and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Education: Degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
